Abstract
今回の座談会は、20周年特集号中の総説「自然保護教育の展開から派生する環境教育の視点」 (小川2009) に対して、別の視点としての「森林環境教育と自然保護教育」という評論 (比屋根2009) に端を発する。青森大会でのプロジェクト研究発表「森林環境教育の課題－林業と自然保護－」（比屋根2011）をうけ、森林 (環境) 教育、自然保護教育の範囲や現在の到達点をみようとするものである。テーマに関する議論の中で森林環境教育ではなく森林教育として議論することが合意され、それ以降は森林教育としての議論となったため、本座談会のタイトルは「自然保護教育と森林教育」とした。
