В статье представлен анализ динамики поголовья скота и производства основных видов продукции животноводства в Башкирской АССР в крайне интересный и динамичный период истории Союза ССР. Новизна исследования, по мнению авторов, обеспечивается уже тем фактом, что в статье широко использованы материалы фондов одного из крупнейших федеральных архивов – Российского государственного архива экономики (РГАЭ), в большинстве своем не апробированные до наших дней. Утверждается, что к началу исследуемого периода животноводческая сфера сельского хозяйства Башкирии находилась в глубоком кризисе. Авторская концепция состоит в том, что ряд постановлений союзных властей, изданных в 1950-х гг., положительно отразился на развитии животноводства. В это же время в аграрной политике партии и правительства все отчетливее проявлялась тенденция к всемерному ограничению личного подсобного хозяйства (ЛПХ) граждан. При этом ведущая роль в обосновании и реализации такой политики принадлежала руководителю государства – Н.С. Хрущеву. Проведя соответствующий анализ, авторы приходят к выводу, что в исследуемый период животноводство Башкирии, несмотря на ряд объективных и субъективных препятствий, сделало в своем развитии значительный шаг вперед. The article presents an analysis of the dynamics of livestock and production of the main types of animal produce in the Bashkir ASSR during an extremely interesting and dynamic period in the history of the USSR. The novelty of the study, in the authors’ view, is provided by the fact that the article widely uses materials from the collections of one of the largest federal archives (the Russian State Archive of Economics (RGAE)), most of which have not been piloted so far. It is stated that at the beginning of the period under study, the livestock sector of the Bashkiria’s agriculture was in deep crisis. The authors argue that a number of decrees and resolutions of the union authorities issued in the 1950s had a positive impact on the development of animal husbandry. At the same time, the tendency to limit the private subsidiary farming in which citizens engaged in every possible way began to manifest itself more and more clearly in the agrarian policy of the party and the government. The leading role in the justification and implementation of that policy belonged to the head of state N. Khrushchev. After conducting an appropriate analysis, the authors conclude that in the period under study, Bashkiria’s animal husbandry made a significant step forward in its development despite a number of objective and subjective obstacles.
