Abstract

The article analyses the relationship between average wages and labour productivity indicators at the level of the Russian Federation and the Kemerovo region in 2000 – 2012, an attempt to evaluate the strength of links using Pearson correlation coefficientis made. Levels of average monthly wages and output per person in the coal-mining enterprise «Baykaimskaya Mine» were researched to verify the received conclusions at the microlevel.
