Abstract
And because the poet is the most absorbed in his emotional world, memory and its repercussions dominate a large part of his consciousness, especially that memory that comes to him with what he witnessed in his childhood and the situations he went through, so they remained stuck in his mind, so we find that most of the poems of Iraqi poetry work On invoking the past in an attempt to understand the present, drawing inspiration from its symbols, and interrogating its pains, and most of the Iraqi poetry is confused texts that fall under the pressure of time, especially (psychological time), so you flee to dreams at times and interrogates memory at other times and so on.
