Abstract

The Pareto principle, also known as the 80 by 20 principle, states that 80% of the results come from 20% of the effort. This principle was named after the Italian economist Wilfredo Pareto, who first formulated it at the end of the 19th century. In this scientific work, the ways of applying the law in various fields of activity are considered. The principle helps to focus your attention and resources on key tasks and actions that contribute to maximum impact. And it allows you to effectively allocate time and effort to achieve the desired results. The advantages of using the Pareto Principle are described, as well as its disadvantages are considered. Examples of using the Pareto Principle at the professional and household levels are given.
