Abstract

The article discusses the issues of the phenomenon of public danger, which is inherent in crime. The characteristics of the public danger of a crime are proposed, which make it possible to distinguish a criminal act from a non-criminal one. The main emphasis in determining the social danger of a crime is made on the value properties of the protected good. As a result of the discussion of the social danger of the crime, a definition of the subject under consideration is proposed.
