Abstract
Russian abstract: В статье рассматривается феномен языкового стиля англоязычных СМИ: анализируется его лексико-грамматические особенности, трудности интерпретации и дидактики, критика, рекомендуемая литература и подходы к изучению и практическому применению журналистами-международниками в связи с профессиональной деятель-ностью. Особое внимание обращено на необходимость развития у обучающихся навыка грамотного, надэмоционального восприятия особого языка печатных СМИ англоязычного мира – так называемого “Journalese”. English abstract: The article deals with Journalese, the unique English language media style, its grammar and vocabulary features, interpretation, advantages and disadvantages of its use and approaches to teaching it to the students of international journalism departments, non-native speakers.
