Abstract

Tuberculous otitis media is one of rare granulomatous disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and it has been reported to occur usually with tuberculosis of lung. Recently, we experienced a case of tuberculous otitis media without pulmonary tuberculosis in 39 years old male patient. This patient suffered right otorrhea and hearing loss for 4 months and was diagnosed as tuberculosis by biopsy. He had been treated by anti-tuberculosis drug with good result.
