Abstract

This article examines the actual problem renovation of underground infrastructure of megalopolis, because current state of functioning of the Kyiv subway needs an improvement. Today it is necessary to use new approaches to the management of subway, based on the principles of logistics. The article reveals the essence of logistics infrastructure and its features for the transport company that provides transportation services for passengers.Authors offer interpretation of term «logistic infrastructure» enterprises as «the combination of internal (resources, assets, organizationally-structural subdivisions, affiliates) and external (enterprises, administrative-territorial units and others like that) elements of business entities (as a logistic system) that provide spatio-temporal transformation of logistic streams (material, informative, financial and objects of moving, and others like that) or create the conditions of the effective going of these streams (in the chain of supply) by creation of potential of appropriate logistics services». The logistic infrastructure of underground passage provideseffective co-operation of existing in underground passage orsuch on that he can influence, resources and assets with the aim of grant of transport services for a population with the acceptable level of service and quality. Major trends and prospects of the of development infrastructure of the Kyiv subway, that are based on domestic and international experience the introductions of innovations, presented in the article. These trends improving individual elements of logistics infrastructure Kyiv subway, including: rolling stock, escalators, stations, system information and fare for passengers, etc., will increase the quality of transport services and to ensure competitiveness.
