Abstract
본 연구는 질적 연구방법을 사회적 경제에 응용할 수 있도록 해석 현상학적 분석(Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis: 이하 IPA) 방법을 보호관찰청소년 재비행 경험 연구를 통해 적용하는데 있다. IPA는 대상이나 사건에 관한 인과관계를 규명하려는 것이 아닌, 개인의 개별적 지각이나 경험을 탐구하는 것이다. IPA 방법에 배경이 되는 요소는 현상학과 해석학 및 개성기술(ideography)이다. 사회과학의 연구를 위한 새로운 방법론이 필요하다는 인식에 따라, IPA 방법을 적용한 사례를 통해 구체적인 연구방법론의 적용을 소개하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 보호관찰청소년의 재비행 경험에 대한 사례연구를 수행하였으며, 연구 결과에 따른 논의를 요약하였다.
