Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a health promotion project guideline for the workers in charge of the Army Division''s health promotion project. The study was based on the CLEAR Toolkit’s four steps named as ‘Treat, Ask, Refer, Advocate’. Methods: This methodological study was performed by two phase. First, focus group interview of fifteen workers in charge of the Army Division''s health promotion project was carried out to make-up a guideline draft. Second, a validity test was done by five experts of military health promotion project, then the authors finalized the guideline based on their opinions. Results: The guideline was consisted of 11 theme clusters and four clusters called ‘Check the health problems’, ‘Ask about health promotion needs’, ‘Refer to in and out of military system’, ‘Advocate for consistent health promotion activities’. Conclusion: So, this guideline will be used to more effectively improve the health statues of army soldiers when offering health promotion project.
