Abstract

This study aims to explore the possibility of expanding vocational rehabilitation services by examining the experience of applying general qualitative research to the experience of attempting vocational rehabilitation services. Focus group interviews were implemented for four vocational rehabilitation service providers. As a result of the study, 6 main themes and 21 sub-themes were derived. Major topics are‘Agonizing over social change and the limitations of vocational rehabilitation services and recognizing the need for new services development’, ‘Gradually attempting platform-based vocational rehabilitation services from the traditional method’, ‘Developing a support method suitable for platform environment’, ‘Providing various options to respond to the needs of the mentally disabled’, ‘Witnessing the mentally disabled people creating new identities through platform work’, ‘Giving tasks to expand vocational rehabilitation services using the platform’. Based on this, the implications and suggestions of vocational rehabilitation services using the platform were presented.
