Abstract
This article analyzes the main provisions of the teachings of Aristotle about virtues in the context of upbringing and education. The author considers proposed by Aristotle a typology of virtues and the conditions of their formation and age periodization of education in accordance with the tasks that are solved during each age period. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the organization of the Aristotle educational activities and scientific research.
