Abstract
The living conditions of the population are one of the para-meters that characterize the quality of life of the population. Based on the results of a comprehensive observation of living conditions conducted by Rosstat, a comparative assessment was made for the population of the Republic of Tatarstan. The comparative assessment of the region's indicators is due to the existing differentia-tion in the socio-economic development of the regions. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the housing conditions of households of the Republic of Tatarstan improved and that hous-ing provision and improvement were higher than the national average.
