Abstract

Modern conditions for the creation of clusters act as the main tool for effective management of the agro-industrial sector in Russia, as they allow accumulating and combining resources and production capacities of various agricultural and industrial organizations. The article discusses the features of the functioning of agro-industrial clusters and their role in regional development. On the example of the Krasnodar Territory, the activity of the Kuban cluster is analyzed, its importance in the production of competitive products is determined, problems are identified and measures are planned to increase its development potential.
