Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Han-Kang sports game participation, annual exchanging intramural games between two rural colleges, on students satisfaction level for campus life. The subjects involved in this study were asked to complete a questionnaire of campus satisfaction before and after Han-Kang games. The pretest and posttest control group design was implemented to determine the effects of intervention treatment. The descriptive statistics of increased mean scores for two groups showed that the satisfaction degree for intervention group who participated Han-Kang game was increased significantly compared to control group who did not participate the game. This results seem to approve the fact that the well organized intramural sports participation has a great potential for increasing the students satisfaction level of their campus life in a rural Korean college.
