Abstract

The formation of the sustainable development concept is associated with a commitment to discover alternative environmentally friendly solutions that meet the needs of generations in the long run. Fundamental principles, goals and tasks for translating ideas into practice stand out. The focus is on the relationship “economy – society – ecology”. A system of criteria for indicating the degree of resilience is envisaged. Emphasis is placed on the need for entrepreneurs to be aware of modern requirements and to develop responsible business behaviour.
