Abstract
The article discusses the experience of Iran, which has an important role in the production and world trade of walnuts. Walnut export for the Iranian economy, which is sanctioned by Western countries, is an important source of replenishment of the country's foreign exchange reserve. Calculations show that according to 2018, 73 cents are required to receive one dollar of gross output from the production and export of walnut. Thus, the cost coefficient of domestic resources is less than one. Based on this,it can be argued that walnut has a comparative advantage of cultivation and export in Iran
