Abstract

The existing reviews of research on Kant's heritage and the reception of philosophical ideas of the thinker do not reflect the actual connection of Immanuel Kant's philosophy with the development of new technologies and their expansion into all spheres of life. Is it possible to connect the anthropological meaning of Kantian philosophy with the questions that arise in the technologized world? This paper offers an overview of the receptions of some aspects of Kant's philosophy in research related to artificial intelligence technologies and biotechnologies. The theoretical core of the research was the distinction between transcendentalism and naturalism as research philosophical programs. Conclusions are drawn about the prospects of studying the reception of Kantian philosophy in techno-research, as well as about its dual nature, which reveals itself in the steady reproduction of transcendentalist and naturalistic interpretations of the thinker's ideas.
