Abstract
The article actualizes the problem of developing an effective geopolitical strategy for integrated security of Russia in the Arctic aimed at minimizing the threats to the region’s sustainable development. It is stressed that an important role in the implementation of a strategy formation of an integrated security system in the Arctic belongs to an effective system of protection of population and territory, critical and potentially dangerous objects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation from emergency situations of natural and technogenic character.
