Abstract
A comparative analysis of existing technologies for the cultivation of melons and gourds, which made it possible to identify their advantages and disadvantages, has been carried out. As a tool for the primary cultivation, a frontal plow is proposed, which is designed for smooth plowing and ensuring the rotation of the soil layer directly in its own furrow.
