Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of preference books according to the children`s personality types. For this study, the analytical criteria of preference books was made through literature review and investigated the contents of the borrowed books of 6th grade students collected from 3 elementary school libraries. This study found that the characteristics of preference books differ according to the children`s personality types. Based on the results of this study, new reading education programs according to various personality types are expected to be developed.
