Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of the theoretical representation of modernization processes within the socio-technological paradigm. The author dwells in detail on the conceptual and methodological origins of the theories of modernization and neo-modernization, showing their unity in understanding modernization changes as processes of rationalization in the field of production technologies, production management and economics, politics and socio-cultural sphere. It is noted that in the socio-technological paradigm, socio-political modernization is represented as a process accompanying technical, technological, economic and managerial changes.
