Abstract

The article considers the issue of their qualitative and quantitative analysis in order to assess the amount of information contained in school textbooks and its complexity. To solve it, the method of paired comparison of the complexity of concepts was used and an analysis was carried out using special computer programs. Programs for counting the number of names of scientific terms in texts contained in school textbooks allow you to compare the didactic complexity of textbooks. All this makes it possible to assess the level of complexity and information saturation of various topics of the school. A textbook on the subject "Mathematics" was offered for study.
