Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the peculiarities of growing buckwheat in the Russian Federation and the Non-Chernozem zone. The statistical results of the acreage and crop yield are presented. The biological features in the context of the agrotechnology of this cereal crop and the prospects for its further cultivation in the country and region are revealed.
