Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of development of Arabic learning tools in the form of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and Student Task Plans (RTM) based on a communicative approach in the Kitabah course (writing skills) and to determine the quality of learning tools that have been developed with a communicative approach. This study uses the Research and Development method. The research stages of developing Arabic learning tools in the form of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and Student Assignment Plans (RTM) with a communicative approach used in the research are as follows: Literature study and observation, design, validation carried out by assessing the tools that have been developed by 2 (two) experts. The development of learning tools is carried out by taking into account the principles of the communicative approach and also the need for a higher education curriculum based on Merdeka Learning and Independent Campus. The results of the assessment questionnaire of 2 (two) experts on the learning tools that have been developed show "Good" quality with a percentage of 74%.
