Abstract
In the conditions of increasing negative hybrid impact on the country's economy and related objective and subjective factors, the development of priority areas of science and technology is of particular importance. However, the limited financial and economic resources, as well as sanctions restrictions, including on the import of components and technologies, sharply raise the question of determining strategic directions of development. And if in the conditions of global integration and cooperation, strategic directions of development depend only on the priorities established in a particular country, then in the conditions of a break in production and scientific chains, issues of developing methodological approaches to determining strategic directions of development in the context of regions and industries come to the fore. Since it is the available opportunities that should serve as the basis for developing development strategies.
