ЭКОЛОГИЧЕСКАЯ ПОЛИТИКА В РЕСПУБЛИКЕ ТАТАРСТАН: ПРОБЛЕМЫ ИНФОРМАЦИОННОГО ОБЕСПЕЧЕНИЯ

Abstract

In the formation of public opinion, including on environmental issues to the media play in many ways, a decisive role. The significance of this problem is actualized not only by the extreme exacerbation of relations in the “nature-society” system, which necessitated an urgent need to improve the effectiveness of state environmental policy, including such a tool as information sup- port, but also by unprecedented changes in the media space. The transition from traditional to new media that took place in the 1990s, the further global spread of the Internet, and the digitization of communication messages led to fundamental changes in the media sphere. The Internet has connected many of its users - individuals, organizations, media into a single, open communication network, creating an unlimited number of connections, reducing the distance between network participants, destroying spatial and temporal restrictions. A new level of communications has emerged that has changed not only consumers' access to information, but also their interaction with it. The media have become an effective tool for the purposeful construction of social orders by building correct relations and relations with the public for the authorities, which fully applies to the environmental sphere, for which the successful solution of the problems of ensuring a safe living environment is largely determined by public opinion, the support of the population for the implemented environmental policy ... In this regard, the study of coverage of environmental problems, state measures to solve them in the media is an important task in both scientific and practical-political meaning. The article presents the results of a study of the practice of information support of state policy on environmental conservation, the role of the media in covering environmental issues on the example of the region of the Republic of Tatarstan. The key problem of the study was to determine the effectiveness of information support for the policy of state authorities to ensure environmental safety. The selected topic is actualized by a high degree of awareness by the Russian population of the importance of environmental pollution problems and is considered by them as a modern global threat.
