Abstract

The effects of a emergency training program on strengthening the competency of professional safety instructors. For this purpose, data were collected from 107 professional safety instructors from January 6 to January 11, 2023. Data analysis was performed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, xSUP2/SUP, t-test, and ANOVA. Emergency knowledge and first aid training needs were checked to verify the effects of the emergency training program in strengthening the competency of professional safety instructors. It was found that the scores of emergency knowledge and emergency training needs were higher after the training than before the training. The emergency training program was found to be effective in strengthening the competency of professional safety instructors. These findings will provide the basis for a strategy for running a regular emergency training program to ensure the continuity of training.
