Abstract

The article examines artistic contexts of the future tense in the poetry by Pyotr Zakharov, one of the most vivid representatives of the modern Udmurt literature. The paper ascertains the basic motive and situational models of poetical actualization of the future tense forms, analyses the factor of figurative and symbolic relevance of their usage, and identifies the dominant structural combinations of lyrical expression of this type of artistic temporality. The author points out that verbal forms in P. Zakharov’s poetical system have a structure-formative meaning, acquire relevant semantic characteristics.
