Abstract

The article identifies and characterizesthe features of the manifestation ofcognitive styles of future softwareengineers in the educational process inhigher education institutions. Theanalysis of the scientific works devotedto features of cognitive styles in themodern environment is carried out. Theclassification of student’s cognitivestyles according to his individual style isoffered. It is proved that themanifestation of cognitive styles infuture software engineers occurs inthree areas of activity - cognitive,communicative and creative. Accordingto each direction the detailedcharacteristic of its display on thefollowing parameters is given in thework: theoretical, active, affective style.
