Abstract
This article examines the problems of economic growth of the Russian Federation under the influence of various demographic factors. There is still no established consensus in the scientific community about the impact of demographic processes and their changes on the economic growth of the state. However, according to the author, demographic processes can influence the economy in the long term. The purpose of the study is to study the impact of demographic processes on economic growth in Russia. Research materials and methods are based on the analysis of scientific, statistical, economic data, graphic interpretation of results, synthesis of opinions and indicators. Research results. The study describes the main positive and negative trends in demographic processes and the degree of their influence on the country’s economic growth.
