Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal modern pedagogical approaches (activity-value, competence-based) to the formation of functional literacy of a future specialist studying at a departmental university. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the description of the implementation of the construction of functional literacy and self-reflection of the personality of the future specialist, from the standpoint of social design and construction. Attention is paid to the atlas of professions. Some expressive methods of creative self-expression of the individual and their implementation in the educational process of the university are described. As a result, the active use of the activity-value approach in teaching by university teachers is scientifically justified, and the components of functional literacy of future specialists are identified.
