Abstract

More than three decades have passed since the end of the confrontation and the Cold War between the two superpowers. Romanian-Russian political relations remain tense. This factor actively influences on the development of bilateral economic relations, investment dynamics, infrastructure, energy, logistics, agro-industrial, metallurgical joint projects. In many economic initiatives of the Romanian side there is lack of consistency and ambivalence, failure to hold the positions taken, despite external factors of influence from outside, change of political party elites in power. The author of the article tried to analyze the premises for the formation and development of Romanian-Russian economic relations at the present stage.
