Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of modern piano ensemble performance in the pedagogical activity of a higher school teacher. The influence of ensemble music-making on the development of the professional skills and personal qualities of students of various specialties is emphasized. Due to the modern Russian education modernization, and on the basis of long-term pedagogical experience and extensive concert activity, the author provides recommendations on working with students of various specialties in the general piano course aimed at developing interaction, improving the quality of sound and fundamental music erudition.
