Abstract
The article examines the impact of globalization processes on the Ukrainian economy. It is emphasized that this influence is multifaceted, covering economic development, socio-cultural aspects and political relations. It is noted that globalization leads to qualitative transformations in the functioning of the economy, affecting the country's competitiveness, the standard of living of the population, and the system of international relations. It is noted that the countries of the world experience the impact of globalization processes in different ways due to the fact that these processes, firstly, change the existing model of economic, political and social relations between countries; secondly, they contribute to the formation of a system of international relations in the conditions of a single global economic space. It was noted that globalization has both positive and negative consequences for Ukraine. Positive aspects include opportunities for economic development, cultural exchange and international cooperation. However, the negative consequences, such as the disparity in the levels of development, the diminution of trade and the conflict with traditions, require careful analysis and the development of adaptation strategies to ensure sustainable economic and social development of the country in the face of global challenges. It is noted that the war in Ukraine is causing huge losses for the country. In the modern conditions of dynamic globalization processes, Ukraine is losing its human capital, resources, capacities, infrastructure and finances. The conclusion states that globalization processes have a significant impact on the Ukrainian economy, having both positive and negative consequences. On the one hand, they open up new opportunities for economic development through increased international trade, investment inflows, and technological exchange. Attracting foreign investment can help create jobs and raise the standard of living. On the other hand, globalization can lead to a gap between socio-economically developed countries and those that are developing, complicating competition and leading to an economic weakening of Ukraine's domestic market.
