Abstract

In the Article is discussed how the activities of companies in the industrial sector of the Turkish economy relate to the principles of Sustainable Development. The article provides an analysis of a data base compiled from non-financial reports of Turkish companies covering the years 2007–2019 that contain data concerning the economic, environmental and social components of their activities. On the basis of quantitative and qualitative evaluations and calculations a conclusion is drawn that Turkey’s progress has been limited and uneven within the period under review.
