In Rostov region, there exists a national interest in the demand for excursions to industrial facilities. As a rule, this demand is due to the implementation by teachers of a set of classes meant to identify the propensity of schoolchildren and students to a certain kind of activity, profession. There is also a demand in the region for visits to food industry enterprises, gastronomic tours, excursions to industrial facilities whose activities are related to handicraft production. Most of the existing tours are designed for a one-day visit, excursions are implemented periodically, so the industrial potential of the region is currently not fully used, the share of industrial tourism is insignificant, as well as the slow pace of development. Thus, it is necessary to focus on the model of further development of industrial tourism in the region.
