Abstract

The article considers the main types of corruption crimes in the timber industry. The role of operational investigative activities in countering these offenses is shown. The definition is formulated and the content of the concept of “operational-investigative characteristics of crimes” is defined. Suggestions were made on the effective organization of operational maintenance of territories, objects of the forest industry.
