Abstract

The article considers the essence of a person's assertiveness as a component of emotional intelligence and the role of the officers' assertive behavior when working with the personnel of the NSU military units. It is noted that �assertiveness� is now considered by scientists as the optimal and most constructive way of interpersonal interaction between people in production and social relations. The basic concepts of assertiveness are analyzed and the basic principles of assertive behavior in the course of the professional development of subjects of military command are formulated. It was stated that the most effective interactive method of developing the assertiveness of applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education of the operational level of military education is socio-psychological training. The goals, stages, content, principles, procedures for organizing and conducting socio-psychological training for the development of assertiveness of applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education of the operational level of military education are determined.
