Abstract
The article is devoted to the review of the book of G. D. Kataev “Fauna and ecology of mammals (Rodentia, Insectivora) of Lapland”. The author summarized many years of research on small mammals from the orders Shrews and Rodents, both authorial (1971–2020) and archival data from the territory of the Lapland State Nature Reserve (since 1930). In addition, survey work was carried out in the Pasvik State Nature Reserve and in the adjacent territory of Northern Norway, as well as in Finnish Lapland and in different parts of the Murmansk Region.
