Abstract
The paper deals with the impact of sanctions against Russia on the economy of Armenia. Under difficult economic conditions, the pressure of sanctions on the economy of the Republic of Armenia is great, since Russia is the main trade and investment partner of the Republic of Armenia. The sanctions led to a slowdown in the global economy and accelerated inflation. In turn, the EAEU countries, including Armenia, fell under the influence of various factors of the turbulent external environment. It should be noted that today Armenia was able to minimize the negative impact of the sanctions applied against Russia on the economy, and to some extent take advantage of the opportunities that have opened up.
