Abstract

The article presents the results of assessing the effectiveness of digital communications of the KPRF party in the context of increased competition on the left flank of the party system during the election campaign to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in 2021. The study bases on the implementation of applied research, including the use of automated, cognitive mapping, as well as the method of social graphs. The authors highlight the main problems of online support of the party's activities according to a number of criteria: the scale and development of the digital infrastructure, the content features of the information flow, the peculiarities of its localization, the quality of management of the party communities and identify recommendations to improve the effectiveness of digital communications of the party.
