Abstract

The purpose of the study is to reveal the features of the professional mobility of Russian youth in the context of the problems and possibilities of managing this process in the conditions of modern realities. The methodological basis of the research includes an array of sociological research data on an all-Russian and regional scale, involving the results of the author's sociological research conducted in the subregions of the South of Russia (in the Republic of Crimea and the Rostov region) among students and working youth. Research results: managerial practice in the field of professional mobility of Russian youth, both at the regional and federal levels, is characterized by low efficiency, since it is not focused on preventing the risks of professional mobility, taking into account the basic stages of youth professionalization: professional self-determination, vocational education and professional adaptation. Prospects for the study are related to the development of a system model for managing the professional mobility of young people, which involves cooperation and partnership of all actors involved in this process, led by the state as a key subject of management.
