Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of applying the conclusions of the system-synergetic methodology in the formation of a mechanism for assessing the state of economic security of economic systems. The evolution of methodological approaches to describing the stability and variability of economic systems, their crisis development is considered. Such approaches are characterized from the standpoint of assessing the state of economic security of the ES. The analysis of scientific works of a number of domestic and foreign authors was carried out, based on the results of which conclusions were drawn, projected to resolve problems associated with the formation of adequate logic of the development of ES and effective procedures for assessing economic security. The role of system-synergetic methodology in solving problems of economic security assessment is shown.
