Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between involvement factors (enjoyment, education, help, and practicality) of the participated in screen golf and the intent of exercise adherence. This study was based on the studies about exercise motivation, fun in online game, recognition of leisure, mental health, and exercise adherence. The subjects of this study were 350 participants in screen golf who had experiences of a round of golf by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 7.0 programs. The results were summarized as follow. First, enjoyment and educational factors of the participants in screen golf showed a significant statistical correlation only with the predisposing of the intent of exercise adherence. Second, practical and helpful factors of the participants in screen golf showed a significant correlation with the predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing of the intent of exercise adherence. Third, the intent of exercise adherence according to the golf level of the participants showed a statistical difference(F=2.444, p.05) in the predisposing. Fourth, the involvement factor according to the golf level of the participants showed a statistical difference(F=3.544, p.01) in the fun factor. On the beginner level, the involvement factor was the highest.
