Abstract

The article describes the structure, volume and functional features of the children's literature corpus (DetCorpus). The corpus is compared with the Russian National Corpus, the most famous and commonly used in modern linguistic and literary research. The ways of using DetCorpus to solve linguistic research problems are shown by the example of studying lexical semantics of the word rynok (‘market’). The author presents a method for obtaining and a further analysis of concordance and a list of collocations for the word rynok , and also considers thematic search possibilities.
