Abstract
The article describes the most priority direc-tions of development of Russian and interna-tional logistics. The article considers peculi-arities of logistics in the Russian Federation, which determine the main vectors of devel-opment. These include business software development, route maintenance, growth in online commerce, and growing digitalization. Examples of national logistics companies implementing the considered ways of devel-opment in practice are given. Trends in the development of foreign logistics have been identified. These include the creation of transport alliances, the increasing role of outsourcing and logistics operators, and the minimization of environmental risks. The reasons of differences and similarities in the directions of development of Russian and foreign logistics are described. Recommen-dations to Russian logistics companies to improve efficiency and gain a competitive advantage have been presented.
