Abstract

This study aims to develop the design principles of studio space through case analyses and a design exercise in order to provide organizational ideas for the formulation of integrative educational space for STEAM. Characteristics of integrative education was studied to identify the space requirements. Similarity between STEAM and architectural studio education was argued, and 14 cases of studio design were analysed and space organization principles were developed with the result.
