Abstract
The article examines the phenomenon of linguistic manipulation in the modern scientific world, identifies the certain features characterizing linguistic manipulation in the Germans’ interpersonal communication. Relying on the peculiarities of the communicative behaviour of the German linguo-cultural community the authors try to identify the communicative means of expressing manipulation in the German linguo-culture. In general, the paper analyses three language levels: grammatical, lexical and phonetic. The German comedy movies of 2017-2018 served as the research material.
